I don't like to go clothes shopping so I do it twice a year when there are big sales. We went today and I got 13 long sleeve shirts and 2 jackets. It's amazing how much you can get when stuff is on sale.

It's best to buy in quantity if you're replacing a wardrobe. I usually spend a fortune up front, then add to my wardrobe throughout the season.

I give away thousands of dollars worth of apparel to my friends and family yearly.

They *might* be ugly to you, but I like them. I need way more than 13 shirts, this was just to add to what I already have.

If you purchase more expensive brand clothing, look on eBay first, you can often get the same thing for much less.

They're not fake. I'm not talking about some purse, but instead something that wouldn't be worth the time to duplicate, like a unique jacket, or simply a RL Polo shirt.

I buy things I cannot find in stores on eBay. Since my city does not have the highest end items from many labels, I must purchase them online.

It's hard to find Prada or any higher end Ralp Lauren item in my city, but they all can be found for cheap on eBay or if you want to pay retail, on a national retailer's website.

Yes some items are fake, but mostly women's items, purses and shoes.

not everything is fake. I bought my BR wallet there, it is the same as the you can get from the store. I went back to the store to make sure it wasn't fake. the price was about 55% cheaper and no tax.

I'm very sorry to tell you this, but 95% (if not more) of the stuff you're finding on eBay is fake. It's a known fact that fake designer clothing is rampant on eBay.

Why on earth would someone sell a $600 pair of Prada boots for $89?

Link please, otherwise QFT.

I am an expert on the matter, and I can tell the difference and most of it is real.

They sell it for so cheap because they cannot return it to the store, some of it may be stolen, some of them are factory overstocks. It's all different.

Depends on my funds. If I'm having a year when my money is coming in thin, then I will hold out as long as possible and then buy a bunch of new everything all at once. If money is coming in thick, then I will go on random buys and buy stuff online once in a while.

I havn't purchased clothes in like 2 years. I only wear real clothes about 2 days a week, so what I have is enough.

Army uniform. When I refer to real clothes, i'm talking about "civilian clothes". Thats what we call them, but most people would be clueless what that meant.

One advantage of buying a lot at one time is being able to coordinate a lot of different combinations of what you are buying.

I typically buy a bunch of stuff at Kohls when they have a mega sale. If this happens when I'm at my parent's house, my mother usually has some sort of 20% off coupon, making clothes dirt cheap.
