Closing L1 bridges with copper wire

I thought this might have been possible before I had the processor in my hands. When I first looked at how small the L1 bridges were I nearly sh*t myself.

Uh, I think he's talking about Athlon XPs, which have hollow 'pits' between the bridges and you can't simply unlock the bridges with a pencil anymore 🙁 🙁
