Senior member
If i buy a AMD 1.2 GHZ with a closed L1 bridge...does that signify a 266FSB (133) processor.
A computer store told me this and i want to make sure it is tryue before i lay 450 canaidan down
thanks

Just look at the marking on the chip core itself....Should have a C after the 1200 I believe if it's a 266'r.

Closed L1 bridges have nothing to do with the fsb speed.

Like davidwiz said Mwave has the 1.13gig's that are 266fsb. But if you get a 1.2 that is unlocked (which most of them are) then you just change your fsb speed in the bios with the A7V133 mobo as with several other mobo's. My 1.2 gig is running at 10X150Mhz.
