3D games run fine, but 3Dmark 2001Se locks up at the 3rd or 4th test, every time!
it will not complete a run and spit out the bench #, I got a "out of memory error"
I used 61.72 and 61.76's, no overclocking
and all 3d games run fine for hours on end, no lockups or anything
any ideas?

What are best drivers?

and in the AGP settings in drivers under OS I am getting 32 instead of the optimal 256 on the Max Request Queue Depth, the others all say 256 and my AGP under OS says 2x instead of 8X?!?!?
wth?? is this right
what do your say?

any ideas advice is apppreciated

perhaps you need to take a peek in your BIOS, and make sure your Aperature size is set to 256, and also your AGP is setup correctly.

no system specs? if u got an out of mem error...why not tell us how much memory u actually have? did u fresh install ur OS with drivers installed in correct order? i recommend always fresh installing OS when adding new vid card. i just dont trust those driver cleaners. oh and they patched 3dmark a few times, u mite wanna check into that. is 3dmark 03 running ok?

Maybe your pc wasnt stable before you installed the vid card. How many watts is your power supply? Try running memtest-86 and prime 95.

First, full system specs. Also, F 3Dmock '01 as your card will not show substantial gains there, it's CPU limited, try '03, if that doesn't run F 3Dmock altogether and get back to gaming 😉

WTF I just checked and my AGP for OS is running at 2x and the same with the on the Max Request Queue Depth GPU is GPU is capable of 256 but chipset and OS are at 32!!! BAH!!!

I just checked at NVnews.net and apperently it is still running at 8x AGP and the depth que thing doesn't matter either. So thats not your problem. thats just how the NV control panel works.

" if that doesn't run F 3Dmock altogether and get back to gaming "

I think your're right
