close range outdoor closed circuit or IP surveillance camera

basically, i want like a door camera that lets me see you is standing in front of a door. most surveillance cameras are for wide-range and long-range viewing. any recommendations? needs to be weather proof.

At our office, we have about 30 Axis cameras...the 209 is a flush mount pancake that has POE capabilities and is weather resistant (not sure if I'd put it in a driving rain, but it can definitely run outside under an overhang) - we have them covering all ingress/egress points and they work wonderfully.

I think they run about $500 each, plus software if you want centralized management and recording.

I haven't used any of these so I can't give a specific recommendation, but I would start here and read the revies if you are looking for camera options on a lower budget (under $200).
