For those that have seen the movie:

What would you have done a if you were given the choice to leave your family, all your friends, everyone and everything you know for an opportunity to do and see things that no other human has? Would you have hopped on that alien spacecraft to see the universe in all its glory or would you have stayed back out of fear or responsiblity to the people around you?

For me it would have been a no brainer- As much as I love my family and friends, I could not have rejected an opportunity to travel the galaxy.

I think I will take a chance, my only concern is looks like traveling galaxy will be very boring.

I would take their ship for a nice little joy ride, take over a few small countries, kidnap some hot women and sit back and let the fun begin. :D

No, I am quite happy here on Earth and there is no guarantee that just because the aliens that picked me up were benevolent that the situation would hold true wherever they took me.

Travelling the galaxy would get old after a few hours. Imagine never being able to enjoy human interaction ever again. No, fvck that.

Since I don't have a wife or kids right now, I'd take the opportunity in a heartbeat provided I could come back to Earth at some point.

If I was told I could never come back and that I would spend the rest of my life without seeing many (or any) humans again, I might reconsider. The problem is that when presented with that kind of opportunity, if I turned it down I would always regret it.
