Close call on way to work... quite ironic

This morning on my way to work I was almost side swiped by some guy who wasn't paying attention to anything involving driving a car. He and I are traveling at the same speed and directly next to each other on a 2 lane, one-way highway offramp when he decides he needs to be over in my lane. So he just turns on his blinker and starts moving on over into my lane. I swerve right onto the small shoulder, perform the usual hard braking maneuver, and lay on the horn at the same time. So what's this guy do??? Doesn't bat an eye, doesn't stop his lane change, doesn't swerve back into his lane, and doesn't even notice that I'm riding half on the shoulder and braking hard to prevent him from driving right into the side of my car. So now I'm behind the guy -- a good ways back -- and watching him so he doesn't do something else stupid which I half expected. Traffic starts to slow down and I get close enough to read the bumper sticker he has on his car that reads: "Life Is Precious. Obey the Law." Quite ironic in my opinion...

if i'm not in a hurry, and i'm in a bad mood, i might just let someone hit me, not going to be the end of the world if we're not going that fast.....teach 'em a lesson eh? should have done it a few times before but i swerved, causing maybe a more hazardous situation for the rest of the road

actually you shouldn't have been right beside him or anywhere near his blind spot.

But that's just me. I like to be a "safe" driver and presume the world is full of people who don't pay attention.

-edit- way to avoid the moron and the bumper sticker is just classic!

Atlanta traffic in the morning does not allow for any "safety" such as not being in someone's blind spot. I prefer to be far far far away from people who I feel are unsafe drivers, little did I know I was right beside someone.
