I just order an SSD which should come in a week. But I built a new PC for about a month now and been using a regular HDD. So when the SSD comes, is possible that I just clone the OS to the new SSD or I will have to back up my stuff and install a clean OS into the SSD?

Some useful information that might help answering this easier:
SSD is a Samsung 840 128 gb (it on sale for 69 after rebate at tiger direct if anyone interested)
My current storage on the WD HDD is 52 gb
Running Windows 7

Yes, you'll be able to clone just fine. Depending on which edition you purchased it may already come with a CD for cloning. Otherwise, it *should* be available for you to download from Samsung. If not, since you have a WD HDD, they also have free cloning software (Acronis based) for free download. If you can't get one from either, mini-tool's partition wizard is free for home use and works well. Your last resort is Win7. It has an image backup.
