Cloning NT4 Workstations using Ghost6.0, what precautions needed?

Since each computer has its unique SID, how to change/delete cloned computers' SID?
Anything else to be done?

You should only generate the SID after the system has been cloned to each machine, and not put in the SID in the image. In some cases we have found that our cloned Chinese NT4 systems will not boot after being cloned. In such cases, you need to use GDISK to revive the MBR.

No....there's a program for you to generate the SID to that you can use SMS.

There's a program that can be downloaded by Sysinternals that allows you to change the sid after a machine is cloned. It's called changesid.

As a side note...it's important that all the hardware in each workstation is identical.

Why not just use Ghostwalker that is part of ghost ?
