"Cloning Hard disks"

I just recently bought a new 40 gig Maxtor and I want to transfer everything from my current HD to it so that I can give my current HD to my brother. When I use the options on the bootable disk the provide it only gives me the choice to create a partition the size of my current HD (20 GB) or copy system dos files. I want to transfer everything from one to the other but I want to do it the 'right way', not just drag and drop. :\

If anyone knows of any program that can do this, especially one I already have (but don't know about), I appreciate your help.

Thanks,
Justin

When you buy the retail Maxtor drives they come with Maxblast which allows you to ghost the drive. if you have the OEM version but own Norton system works I believe Ghost is included which does this as well. Even some motherboards include Norton ghost and anti-virus with them, so check if you have them.

In the box was a Quantum, so I had to go and get MaxBlast Plus so it supports quantums as well. But when I go there I can't do anything because I have it formatted as NTFS, and it's not cooperating.

The only Symantec Norton product I have is Systemworks 5.0, which doesn't include Ghost. Is there anything included with windows XP that maybe I have? ;[
