Cloned video on TV, video not showing

I'm using a Asus Geforce 4 Ti4600 and I'm cloning my Video onto my TV. I'm trying to play a DIVX movie on my computer and have it show on my TV so I can sit back and relax on the Sofa, instead of the computer chair in front of my monitor. The only problem is, the video only shows on my monitor. I am getting a purple-ish black screen where the video should be on Windows Media Player. I've also tried Winamp with the same outcome. Has anyone encountered this? Would greatly appreciate an answer.

p.s. I'm using the latest Nvidia Detonator drivers and I'm running Windows XP Professional.
 
This should be in the video forum, but oh well. GO to your video properties, and hit overlay control. Make sure the TV is set as the secondary device, and set the full screen overlay as teh secondary. Works for me.
