CloneCD website secure????

Sundog

Lifer
I wanted to purchase CloneCD. I went to the website and read the statements regarding security and it states that everything is secure.

But when I actually get to the page where my CC info needs to be added there is no padlock icon in IE and the page was on http: not https:

Anyone else run into this problem? Am I correct in assuming that the site is not secure on that page?

Right click on the page and goto Properties (in Internet Explorer), under Connection it should say "SSL 3.0, RC4 with 128 bit encryption (High); RSA with 1024 bit exchange" ... which means its encrypted. The entire page isn't encrypted (thus no little lock on the bottom) but the frame you're typing your credit card info into is encrypted which is all you need (unless you're typing more personal information into other frames).

That is kind of what I thought, except the info on the website said to specifically check for the padlock icon.
