I was doing a search to find out about the newest version of CloneCD and came across this website.

I tried to join the forum there to ask these questions but they never sent me the email confirmation so I need to ask them here.
1. What are serials?
2. What is CloneCD KeyGenerator and why is it needed if passwords are presented?
3. Why is CloneCD Registry Cleaner needed?

Please, no sarcasm. I can guess the meaning too. I just like the word of experience.
 
1. The serial numbers to unlock the software.
2. They generate the serial from the algorhythm that processes the user's name, etc.
3. When you you update CloneCD, they have a list of "embargoed" serial numbers the install program looks for. If you have one of these w4r3z3d serials (of course, you wouldn't be dealing in anything illegal now, would you?) it writes a secret key in your Registry to prevent unrestricted use of CloneCD. The RegCleaner removes any trace of CloneCD from your system so this sniffer doesn't smell anything.

Of course, you won't need any of these things because you will have ordered your legal copy here.
