I'm trying to use clonecd to back up a SafeDisc2 disc..and you are supposed to be able to customize the programs settings for different copy protection schemes. When I try and edit the profiles, there are no settings to manipulate. On the CloneCD website, it mentions something about only 4/5 default profiles being available if you live in the US... so does that imply that since I live in the US that I cant even manually set profile settings? Has anyone else dealt with this? What's the workaround?

Thanks

thanks for the tip, have you actually tried that yourself at all though? The reason I ask is because I gave that idea some thought, and I was wondering if I would be able to change my region settings Back after the install and still keep the additional functionality?

Yes, I've done it myself with the demo. What it does is enable the 'Amplify weak sectors' option which you need to copy SD2. Don't know about changing the settings back after install. They don't really do a whole lot though. Just set it to Canada or something - everything should stay the same.

i tried it out like you said, and it's all good.... thank you.
Still one thing on my mind though, check this out: Screenshot
See how the "Profile Settings" is supposed to have 3 tabs? Mine still only has one tab...just the "Data read settings". Do you have the same thing? What do you make of that?

The link doesn't work.

I just installed the demo try it out. It's long since been uninstalled so I don't really know about the tab thing.
