CloneCD- Need help!!

Okay i have clone cd...just got it... tried backing up Quake3...worked perfectly... then tried backing up Mechwarrior4...it took an hour to make 2% of the image file!?@?@ is it supposed to take that long? I think it's cuz MW4 is copy protected? How long does it take to make an image file off of a copyprotected disk? anyone? and are there any faster programs out there?
 
when ur making the Cloncd image file make sure you enable fast error skip....that should do it for ya. all games are copy protected these days...M$ just happens to use a newer version of safedisc...i had the same problem with my Motocross Madness 2 cd.
 
Yes, some cd's will take a long time with CloneCD. Usually when it gets past the protection it will pick up speed.
