CloneCD Low Buffer...Questions.

Hi,

Im using CloneCD v3.2.0.1
When I copy CDs after a while the Buffers will run really low into the red zone under 20%.
So I upped the buffer in the settings for both of them to highest point..
Seemed to be sweet for the first CD i copied ran to 92% lowest..
But then the 2nd CD i copied ran down to about 25% buffer around 3 quarters complete
Is this suposed to happen.

Sometimes when i start coping a CD after 1 minute the buffer is down to 78%.
My system is;
Duron 750MHz
448MB pc-133MHz
MSI k7t turbo-r
win 98 swap file=150MB could this be the prob??
creative 16x10x40x with justlink+buffer
aopen 48x cdrom
maxtor 15gb
voodoo 3 3k

can anyone help me out

4in 1 drivers? drive son same cable/can't use ultra dma?

Using 4in 1s v4.32.
They are on the same cable.
How can i disable UDMA in Win98/BIOS??

sorry i was vague. dma should be on, it cuts cpu burden. drives on same cable accessed together have bad performance. other then that i don't know. its a 16x with how much buffer? as long as you don't run out its fine

Its a Creative CD-RW Blaster Internal 16x 10x 40x model RW1611E
Has a 2MB Buffer (Buffer Under Run Error Protection)

you mean burnproof? if so then you can run out and still be fine i have burn proof and ccan stress system to the limit cdrinfo.com for info
