Clonecd, does it need DOS for anything?

I'm going to merge my Win98 stuff to WinMe and I was wondering if CloneCD needed DOS to do any of it's subchannel copying? i.e. has anyone had any trouble with clonecd and winme? Are there any other programs or hardware issues that a comp geek like myself with oodles of hard/software should know about before doing the move?
