I'm only using 43GB of the Intel SSD (120gb) in my Vista machine, so I was thinking about picking up a smaller one, and moving the big one to one of my Macs.

Is it possible to clone the current SSD to a smaller one, say a Crucial M4 64GB?

Yes you can use that tool. It is provided by Intel for you to use. Just be sure you get it from Intel.com.

As long as the cloneware can do proportional imaging, up or down, it should work OK.

Nice, that Intel tool worked perfectly! Took less than 15 mins to go from the Intel 320 120GB -> Crucial M4 64GB. I still have 16.7GB free on it.

Now let's see if I can get this Intel into the iMac.......

Clonezilla won't work going from a larger drive to a smaller drive. If you were able to use another tool to partition just the used space in your larger drive, you might be able to do a partition to partition clone on the 64GB, but then you'd need another tool again to extend your remaining free space onto that partition.

Glad to see the Intel tool worked well for you!
