Hello,

I have the hp terminal 5730 with ssd 8GB (PATA, slc) inside. On this ssd the debian linux is installed.

1. How to clone/move this ssd (8GB) to the same size ssd (8GB).
2. How to clone/move this ssd (8GB) to the larger ssd (16GB).

How to do this under the windows? I already have the usb to PATA adapter. Do I need two such addapters to use the HDD Raw Copy Tool?

Thank you.

Not gonna happen. This hardware will not run Windows 10 or any version back to XP. If you find and install Windows XP call us back

i think he's just using windows as a host system on which to clone the drives.

assuming HDD raw copy doesn't make an intermediate image that could be saved onto the host system you would need 2 adapters.

i also assume debian has some way to extend the partition built into it (i mean, if windows does you'd expect unix to), but not knowing unix i can't tell you how to do that.

OK, the system will run 7, with those bios changes.
I'd advise keeping the Defibrillator very close.
