is it possible that the more i push up the memory, say past 1350, that it will actually decrease performace? perhaps some kind of throttling or something? i dont know but it seems that now when i lay in grass in bf2 that its getting a little choppy. no artifacts at all though, but should i keep it at 1350?

Not sure about that but theoratically it should give you moreperformance. I sure the 7800GTX needs more bandwidth and the increase of memory clock will help this by alot.

I would stay at 1350 unless you have a decent cooler to cool the GTX.

Overclocking too much can hurt performance. I'm not sure where I've seen this before, but when overclocking a component, it hits a certain limit and either crashes your system or has some sort of built-in error correction that makes it slower as speeds increase (as it's correcting errors that would normally crash your system).

If you're seeing a performance decrease, I'd lower the OC a bit.
