Clock too fast in Win98?

On my ASUS A7N-266-C (Nforce chip) the clock start going too fast after a while.

Video doesn't sync either, it just goes as fast as it can be displayed, or
something.

The clock starts going 5x as fast when I use a NTP client.

I think it works fine with WinXP.

Any ideas?

That's a known problem with nForce/nForce 2 chipsets (I don't know about nF 3/4's). I randomly get it in Windows XP on my A7N8X Deluxe 2.0 and NF7-S 2.0. A reboot fixes it. Considering that it occurs randomly, maybe you've noticed it in 98, but have yet to notice it in XP. Are you positive that the problem is specific to Win98?
