Clock gets slow

I have changed the CMOS battery but the system clock still keeps getting slow very rapidly.

What could cause it to behave that way?

Yes, I keep noticing that my system is losing time by synchronizing it with standard
Time keepers.

I can see that it loses about 10 seconds every hour or so.
