Clip from heatsink is broken...how can I remove it now?

While trying to remove this heatsink:

The cheap clip where you wedge the screwdriver in order to remove the heatsink broke off...how can I remove this heatsink safely?

Anyone know or have a suggestion...this is kind of urgent...

Maybe use tweezers to get a grip on it? I'm wondering how the clip could break though...that looks liek metal.

Yeah, it looks like metal, feels like metal but it certainly doesn't hold up like metal...I'll try tweezers, pliers, whatever...I wonder if Aerocool or FrozenCPU will RMA a heatsink...

Press down with your thumb to get it past the clip on the CPU socket, and at the same time, use a screwdriver to pry it outwards and around the clip. That should get it off, hopefully.
