Clio C-1050 w/ hp orinoco pc card and linksys router

I am trying to get my clio C-1050 to work on my wirless network, I have a Links wireless router/switch and a hp 802.11 pc card that was made by orinoco. I went to orinoco site and downloaded the necessary drivers and installed them. It seems to scan for a signal but does not find anything. I tried setting it up so the router does not have any wep enabled and is handing out addresses but the Clio was still not able to find it. Ugh. Im not 100% sure that the pc card and driver im using will work with the Clio. Any ideas?
