You seem confused as to what the government is. It's not the mafia extorting citizens. It was created by the people for the people. We collect taxes, and pool them into a government, to do what we as individuals cannot do by ourselves.

The 'for' people element is currently broken, because, well because of people like you, but it doesn't have to be that way.

If this were to get passed either that bill or some other bill would have exclusions that would nullify the effect for the decamillionaires and billionaires.
