<< "As long as there is not an apparent winner, and the outcome is unclear, there's not much we can do." >>

Isn't that the case? Sure, Bush's win in Florida was certified by Harris, but both Gore and Bush have legal matters pending all the way up to the U.S. Supreme Court. I'd say that's indicative of a winner not being apparent.

That's almost as good as MSNBC tonite.

MSNBC said they would still not declare Bush the winner in Florida tonight, because of pending legal challenges....

They declare election winners based on exit polls & 15% of the vote counted, but not when declared the winner by the duly authorized legal authority. LOL

PS: It will be interesting to see what happens this week when Bush's delegate approaches Clinton.

I'd rather have Clinton in the White House than either of these two....

PCAddict -- Are you so sorry you won't have ol' Bill to kick around any more? Ya gotta get in one more lick?

You might even be right, but I'd sure as hell wait to see more facts and less BS than this kind of trash from a Drudge report.

Fscking LAME!!

even if the report is true, who cares....

There are LOTS of legal matters to be cleared up by both sides this week before it is over....

cxim, I feel the same way. CNN, the Clinton News Network (good one, Russ) is doing the same thing. Florida is still "uncalled" in their eyes.

PCAddict -- Are you so sorry you won't have ol' Bill to kick around any more? Ya gotta get in one more lick?

Yes. :) And he most surely deserves it. ;) I'll give Clinton some credit. He did do some good things. But, as a hard-working American, I am insulted when he and Gore take credit for the state of the economy.

You might even be right, but I'd sure as hell wait to see more facts and less BS than this kind of trash from a Drudge report.

Seriously, do all of the Clintonites hate Druge because he is the one who broke the Lewinsky story wide open? Let it go. You'll feel much better. :)

Yep, it must be a lie if it comes from Drudge. Oh, wait!:

<< The General Services Administration, the government agency that supplies material resources to federal employees, said Sunday it would not yet provide money or office space to either Gore or Bush for a transition into the presidency. "Until the results are clear, and as long as both sides are going to court, the results are not clear yet," GSA spokeswoman Beth Newberger told CNN. >>

Damn, CNN must be lying, too.

<< Drudge for Press Secretary!! >>

Who told you about that? Damned leaks. Oh well, may as well spill the rest of the list so far. Rush Limbaugh - Secretary of State, Jerry Falwell - Attorney General, Newt Gingrich - Secretary of Defense. More as I hear 'em. Ummm forgot one. Oliver North, although his position hasn't been decided yet.

They did his arrogance, the Bushbaby a favor. He'd a spent the five mil and had to pay it back when the real vote count comes out after the courts get finished.

Seems reasonable to me to not release funds to Bush until he has won officially. If after he has won, the white house won't allow him a budget then it's just another court battle. What's one more after all.

My question is how in the hell does the transition cost $5.3M?!?!?!
Somehow, I feel uneasy turning that kind of money over to either of these guys. :Q

The White House is actually beginning to cooperate with the incoming Bush administration at this point.
