I find it funny that Clinton used to jog everyday to McD's and now I hear on the news that he is suffering from clogged arteries... too bad this news is too late to be in the 'Super Size Me' movie. If I heard right, he had the symptoms for a long time.

It is proof that men are afraid to go to the doctor.

Clinton had no excuse for finding out that all four arteries were severely clogged when it was almost too late.

Not necessarily funny but... ironic? That's what I was going to say but it doesn't exactly fit... if someone eats at McD's and they die of a heart attack, its expected...

MAC ATTACK!

huh? If your father passed away from heart disease would it be a laughing matter? You probably dislike Clinton but the guy has a family.

I'm Mickey D's didn't help, but I doubt that it was the root cause.

More than likely it's genetic.

Not him dying, but the fact that a president was assassinated by McD's is quite funny.

Exactly. But don't expect the high school crowd to understand this. I just went through a friend of mine having to get a triple bypass... at 40 years old! Why? Because he had a family history of heart disease and hadn't been to a doctor in more than 10 years. Thankfully, he's recovering well.

Yeah, it's also funny that FDR was in a wheelchair. And hey, he died from arteriosclerosis. It's like a humor doubleheader!

I hate to tell you this guys, but Clinton was under a doctor's care.

What happened in this case was that after he lost weight he decided he didn't need to take his cholesterol lowering medication anymore.

That's right. Plus, the weight loss led to him not needing hypertension medicine anymore either.

However, look at David Letterman. Always seemed like a fit guy and he also needed a quad bypass. Go figure.

My brother-in-laws nephew had a double bypass done about 10 years ago. He was 29 years old. He was also in pretty good shape. though he did tend to eat a lot of fatty foods. But he also ran every day and lifted weights (he was a paramedic).

I think he ended up having the other two done last year.

I'm pretty sure some of it is genetic. Althogh eating a cheese burger every day for 20 years wouldn't help things.
