I didn't see another thread, and I'm pretty happy about it, so here's the link:

Here's an excerpt

Hillary Rodham Clinton won a lopsided, but largely symbolic victory Sunday in Puerto Rico's presidential primary, the final act in a weekend of tumult that brought Barack Obama tantalizingly close to the Democratic presidential nomination.

The former first lady was gaining more than 60 percent of the vote in early returns, and a pre-election poll suggested she could wind up with nearly two-thirds support.

Early exits say it looks like a 37% win with a turnout for 400,000.

YES!

I knew she'd come through. We've broken the tie and now it's full steam ahead to the White House. Don't you ever count out the Clintons.

All she has to decide now is what song she wants to play at her inauguration. YOU HEARD ME!

It's probably not a 37% win as only 4% of precincts are reporting. I'm assuming you're kidding about the tie breaking thing, right?

Great! I guess that means she'll be elected as the next Governor of Puerto Rico. At least, it will give her someplace to go and something to do while she wallows in her self pity.

From what I can see, Obama has largely not campaigned in Puerto Rico, maybe a mistake, but Obama is still looking to win Montana and South Dakota is close. And Obama has
campaigned in those latter two States that matter in the general election. But maybe bOmbrman is right, when Clinton concedes to Obama, maybe he will let Hillary choose a few songs at his inaugeration.

Hillary has run a close race but she has already lost. Now she can maybe use Puerto Rico as a face saving way to concede. Or she can just sit back and watch Obama get to and well past 2118 which should happen in a week or two. The last Hillary argument that she is more electable than Obama will probably get debunked by future credible polling, and one of her last supporters, Harold Ickes, was reduced to tearful sobbing over a mere four delegates when yesterdays democratic meeting firmly slammed the door shut on Hillary math.

Obama just gave another great general election speech in Mitchell, SD.

If I'm an uncommitted super delegate, I'm writing a post-dated press release for Wednesday right now.

I had thought that Hillary was done, and yes she is for this election. I've since changed my mind.
She may have torn the party apart enough that McCain may win ( losing MI and FL in the general election wouldn't help Obama). In that case she can come back like a plague for the next election. It would be a small sacrifice in her mind.

"Most people in Puerto Rico, I would venture to guess, they are not even aware that there's a primary going on," said Luis Pabón-Roca, a local political analyst.
That sums it up. Another HUGE win for the Clinton camp.

if you were a super delegate, you'd probably in a coma right now after passing out from the orgasm of voting for Ohbama and actually having your vote matter :p

be careful, though, I heard voting for Obama can lead to blindness and hairy palms ;)

I can live with that.

Hillary's campaign is in a Terri-Schiavo-like state. Brain dead and waiting for us to pull the plug.

don't give McCain excuses to use his wife's jet, there'll be legislation in Congress to save Hillary by sundown.

Loki is a funny man who will later be sobbing when he realizes his hope of a divided democratic party did not happen.

But that GOP dream dies hard and its almost the only chance the GOP has in 08.

Lemonlaw is a weird guy who is somehow convinced he can peer into the depths of my soul.

I want a united democratic party. If Obama can unite his own party, it might give credence to some of the rhetoric about being a uniter, not a divider... if he can't, he doesn't deserve the job.

Why is PR even in the democratic primary process when they don't even count in the general election? Makes no sense to me.

None of this makes sense... you have to remember, when you're in that ballot booth deliberating and conjugating the Emancipation Proclamation, does it make sense? No! It does not make sense! If Chewbacca lives on Endor, you must vote for Hillary!

And states electoral votes in November are totally awarded to the person with the highest vote total. You really want to get into this discussion.
