She is just shooting herself in the foot these days for a 2k8 election bid.

I wouldn't vote for her anyway, McCain's my man.

McCain will be 72 in 2008, so I don't know about that.

How old was Reagan when he was elected the first time? ~70 right?

Reagan was in great shape for his age, though, and he lived to be 93.

Look at George Bush Sr. He's also in incredible shape for his age. He went skydiving when he was 80.

Let me get this straight. People are upset b/c a game where the player is supposed to steal cars and shoot, beat and murder innocent civilians and police has some sexual scenes hidden. This country has its priorities all wrong.

TWWNS (Truer words were never spoken)

Storm in a glass of water.

The "There is no doubting the fact that the widespread availability of sexually explicit and graphically violent video games makes the challenge of parenting much harder" statement is the second biggest shen I've heard today.

First of all, from what i saw of the mod 😱 it doesnt alter the game because it looks like the guy just messed w/ the script file to enable stuff that was already there. Plus he used nude models that were on the dvd. I don't know if it was just them being to lazy to remove stuff they started but never finished or if they really were trying to get around an AO rating.

Anyway, when i saw this a little while ago i said to myself, man rockstar is going to get sh!t for this. Looks like they are....

But who cares0? The game is rated M. I think it would be fine if they did something to stop kids from getting the games. I was carded when i bought GTA: Vice City, so i figure a lot of places do that.

Lastly, why does sex bother people so much? Plus if your kid is going looking for the mod, dling it, installing, and using it then he's probably looking at tons of porn anyway.

I don't understand why it matters. If the content was there but completely unaccesible unless you break the EULA and hack the game then wheres the issue? At that point you are using the product outside its intended scope.

Hypocrisy has no limits. Maiming, snuffing and most forms of violence are generally accepted in games/movies, but a single naked woman will make millions of people "upset" and "shocked".

now watch hilary turn to hollywood and the entertainment industry for donations then month or two later blast them for being evil.

If kids can download and install the mod, then they can almost certainly view internet porn.

I saw this on the news. In retrospect, it was almost funny to see images of video game characters with there waists blurred out on the national news.

you guys are missing the point.

it's the possible fact that rockstar implemented the code, but intentionally withheld that information to get a mere mature rating to appeal to the masses.

the investigation is to determine if rockstar broke the rules and lied.

Apparently you didn't read this: I don't understand why it matters. If the content was there but completely unaccesible unless you break the EULA and hack the game then wheres the issue? At that point you are using the product outside its intended scope.

I don't understand how these anti-game people can claim that this whole charade helps the rating system at all. Obviously, if 50% of kids 7-14 have this game, whoever is buying it for them and letting them play it doesn't care about what that stupid "M" means on the box, and no more regulation or haggling is going to change that.

How can you expect the public to have any confidence in a rating system that you continually bash?

Here's an idea: stop going after these "evil" and "morally corrupt" game developers and start holding parents accountable for their children.

I can't believe I just suggested such a thing...

After two years in game retail I have learned that most parents don't care what their kids play. Every time we sell a M rated game to a parent that is buying it for their kid we point out why it is rated M ask them if they really want to buy it for them. 90% still buy it saying "Oh he's played worse"

WHAT THE **** IS WORSE THAN GRAND THEFT AUTO!?

Anyways other 10% is really fun to watch when it hits the Mom what her kid wanted them to buy.

And then there are the kids that try to talk you into letting them buy the game even though they are waaay to young. I get a kick out of it, It's like holding a doughnut over a hungry midget.

"Come on! Jump for it! Oh you almost had it that time!"

I don't get it. A game where you run around doing the worst things a parent would want you to do goes unnoticed. Then, there's suddenly a mod that shows buttsecks and the game is EVIL 😕

I dont think there's any buttsecks, just doggie style 😀

WATCH ME NOT CARE.

if they put an AO rating on this thing, sales will skyrocket and publishers will start putting more sex in games. duh.
