I just spend a little better than $5k at a local TV store just to buy a new TV and a few accessories. I did it in less than 30 minutes as I did the research on the internet and knew exactly what I wanted when I walked in the door.

You can get displays that are in excess of $200,000. Plenty of stuff out there if you really want to spend that much.

He shouldn't have gotten the Nano since he already had a PSP, could have used the extra money for another memory stick or something. Definitely shouldn't have gotten the DVD camcorder. Few things are more painful than watching someone's unedited video.

That's it? He's a slow shopper. BestBuy has a single TV that costs that much. I'd buy 5 of them to start with and that takes all of a few minutes to ask "Do you have five of these in stock? I'll take them. Get them ready."
