My wife left me today.

When it comes down to it, all we have is family. Now I dont even have that.

My life will now be ruled by materialism. Things will be my family. Empty, but if you dont have a God, what else is there?

I envy those who have Gods.

I know you may not believe me, but my wife did leave me. Perhaps, if I saw something beyond, some point to it all, I would have fought harder.

Reading of countless philosophy and physics books only further deepened my doubts and beliefs.

Its troubling for a man whom seeks meaning to it all, who wants to believe, but intellect wont allow it.

What part of "My Wife left me" do you not understand? I thought the meaning of life was somehow rooted in family. How can that be if I have no family left.

Does it matter who you are? Does your identity act as key to unlock the meaning of my words? To WHOM the words are addressed does not change the meaning of the words.
