Climateprediction/BOINC ?

Was toying around w the idea of putting a couple machines on climateprediction but had a question or two about registering. My understanding of BOINC is that it's a multi app DC gui, you can pick and choose your projects to run it in. Thus I assumed (and I know what happens when you ass-u-me 😉) that I could just pick up and run w my existing SETI BOINC account and it would link the two together. Doesn't seem like that's working. Went to my user page on the BOINC site and found my cross-project id at the bottom of the page...doesn't seem to work either. Do I actually have to sign up for another acct? Seems like they would make it easier than that and have one common user database.

What do I need to do to run climateprediction?
