there were like 10 threads before i went to bed all claiming to be "official" and all with dumb polls asking to ban certain figures.
"hi" came back as chicken strips and started it, but then it just took off into a big nef parade with a thread even titled, "Official Nef Thread".

Do a bit of searching and you'll find some surviving threads. Some got deleted. Noticed the "Official Vote to ban Anandtech Moderator" and "Official Vote to ban Anand Al Shimpi" threads are gone.

Also there was an "Official Vote to ban 'Official Vote to Ban' threads" and "Official Vote to STFU" and "Official Vote to Ban Abraham Lincoln".
You get the picture.
