This seem to be the best place to pose this question so here it goes
A client of my has a network basically a partial T1 coming into a cisco router, then off to a 24 port hub then into 2 more routers 1 as an internet proxy(router1) and another router(router2) for specialy apps that they run.
Mini-layout: ISP -> t1 modem -> cisco router -> 24port hub -> router1 general interetnet
|-> router2 for specialty apps
Basically they problem is that the router2 is dropping the users off the apps that they are using. there getting the router2 replaced tommorrow and Im hoping that will solve the problem.
If it doesnt solve the problem is there anyway that i can track down what is causing the problem? Becasue they can ping throught the whole route from the clients site to each ip that each device uses and it pings fine.(router2, cisco router, and isp router)
And as far as i can tell the hub is fine too, they havent experianced any problems with the local work or other internet problems other that the specialty apps comming throught the router2
Hope thats not confusing
