Client w/static IP from W2k DHCP server?

Im trying to configure just one machine on my network to have a static IP, but allocated via the DHCP server (a W2kPro box). Yeah, thats right, I want one network resource to think it is a DHCP client, but to always be given a specific IP so I can map services to it from my router.

Any thoughts/suggestions? This was possible on NT4, via dhcp reservations. I just cant find the same beast in w2k.

Ideas?

In the DHCP manager you can set the time limit for the lease on the IP change that to a high enough number that the machine receiving the the IP will never be turned off that many days IE... if the computer you need to be static will never be off for more than 10 days set the lease for 15 or even 20 days and it should always pick up that IP.

In the DHCP snap in right click on the reservations folder and select new reservation. Then tie the MAC addy of the client machine to the IP you want to reserve.
