Stupid question, can I just extract the new files and then replace only certain ones in my current folding folder? If so, which ones?

Thanks.

It's just one executable file, which will replace your FAH6*.exe.

I had originally posted that Linux was once again giving higher PPD based on some posts at hardwarecanucks, but then read a test at hardforum on an SR-2 that showed no difference.

Edit: After some more reading at foldingforum, it seems Linux does give better PPD on core A5 (maybe it matters more with less cores?).

It looks like it may be beneficial to run Linux for SMP/bigadv folding again. If you have 8 threads or less you can do it with a VM, see this thread: http://www.evga.com/forums/tm.aspx?m=4464&mpage=1

Hmmm, could it be that the A5 core is more effcient? It seems to me like it is: with A3 I usually got the results to F@H 2 - 3 hours before deadline; with A5 it seems to me that I will get them in 18 - 20 h before deadline! My PPD has increased correspondingly: from approx 37K-38K to 44K - 47K. OTOH: it could be the WU too ...

Same, had to finally get off my lazy ass and upgrade my clients. Didn't take long but I'm such a procrastinator!

That and my rigs were folding for primegrid yesterday but overnight getting only 4k ppd i knew something was up.

I'm not crunching BIGADV, but it seems the regular 6.30 FAH SMP core is outdated now too? There are two different "A3" cores? See if you can follow this:

So the WU requires core A3, it found core A3, but that core was out of date, so it downloaded... core A3! WTF?

That happened to me too before I updated to 6.34.
