I'm configuring my Linksys WRT54GS and I was wondering what I should set my Client Lease time (using DHCP) to.
Right now, it's at 0 (0 is for a day, and I think that's the maximum).
What happens when the lease time is up?
"The Client Lease Time is the amount of time a network user will be allowed connection to the Router with their current dynamic IP address. Enter the amount of time, in minutes, that the user will be "leased" this dynamic IP address."
I guess this means that when time's up, my connection will be given a new Dynamic IP? Will that affect my connection at all?
Like if I'm playing a game, and the lease is "up", will my connection die for a little bit and kill me out of my game?
If so, is the only way to avoid problems is to use static IP's?
