Hi ppl, Im running a Windows 2003 SBS Server, and it was working fine, after I installed ISA Server 2004.
The next morning, it was not possible to access the shared folders in the server.
The client computers can ping either with the server name or its IP. the nslookup goes well also.
Client computers can also connect to the server in remote connection, and log in. The Internet service, which is hold by the server, works fine.
So I saw that there were 115 windows updates, and i installed alll those updates and restarted the server. (the windows server 2003 sbs was instlled the day before).
But after restarting the problem was still there. All terminals could do everything except accessing the folders, which is one of the most important tasks. They can also access Exchange!
I thought it was the Isa Server, so i uninstalled it.
I tried with the connect to internet wizard, in the server management, and the problem persist.
You can browse webpages, query the SQL in the server, but no access to shared folders.
Permission tabs are OK, i checked.
I think that maybe one of the security updates is the problem. I tried uninstalling a lot of them but i still have this problem.
In between the client computers, which are members of a domain and can log in and authenticate, they can see their shared folders. But the problem is with the server.
Any suggestion?
SBS 2003 SP2 is installed, btw.
Most terminals use XP SP3 and some others use 7.
