Clicking right mouse button by accident

It's like a twitch, my middle finger is randomly clicking the right mouse button and it's annoying the hell out of me. It not a problem with my hand because it only happens when holding the G5.

I suspect the mouse might be too big for my puny, or maybe it's shape is just awkward to me.

Has anyone had this problem and was able to resolve it with a different shape\size mouse?

Nervous tick? A smaller mouse will probably let you hang your middle finger off to the side of the mouse... or maybe a razer which is designed to work off your finger tips and not your palm.

You may not be holding the mouse correctly. The index finger should stay on the left button and the middle finger on the right. Scroll wheel is usually done with the index finger moving to the side.

I used to have this problem when I was playing a lot of WoW. I have since gotten over my crack ... I mean WoW addiction. If you use the right mouse button a lot in any application/game I've found this to be an issue.

Well I found out that I am a "finger" user in that I only hold the mouse with my fingertips. This wasn't working with the G5, but I tried a Lachesis and it was much better I no longer feel the muscle strain that cause my middle finger to twitch and click the right mouse button.

I was probably holding the mouse wrong, I think the G5 is meant for "palm" users, where they use their whole hand to move the mouse.

get used to it.
i remember when i went from my mx1000 to mx rev i did accidentally click the right button a few times. i dunno, maybe ur muscle memory is calibrated to an older mouse where it was harder to push. u should get over it.

i don't have this issue on my mx518, nor did i on my intellimouse previously. i rest my fingers right on the middle of the buttons, just without enough force to click.

maybe the OP should just go to best buy or such and check the display mouses for the stiffest click. maybe you just need a smaller mouse (if your hands are indeed small).
