Clicking on "last" often takes me 10 pages past the last post

I have noticed that many times with longer threads, when I click on "last" it takes me many pages beyond the last post. For example I just made a search in "hot deals" on "memory foam", clicked on last and it took me to like page 23 which had no posts. I had to click on previous 10 times to get to the real last page of posts.

*** note I have my preferences set to show a LOT of posts per page. Still a bug.

The search "pages" is based on the default threads / page, not your personal settings.

The search "pages" is based on the default threads / page, not your personal settings.

This happens in normal thread lists, not just a search. I think the page count is base on the default number of messages per pafe, not your settings. Therefore, if you have 100 messages/page in you prefs, you will see 1 page for every 5 listed. If last page is 3, there are 41-60 mesages total. Clicking last, though, puts you into messages 201-300, which don't exist.

Or maybe someone can think and adjust the URL once they realize what might be happening.

Or maybe someone can think and adjust the URL once they realize what might be happening.

But then you deny the beauty of programming where it can automatically do that for you with a few lines of code rather than making me and every other many-posts-per-page user do it by hand.
