Clicking noise from computer (sound related)

OK...this has been going on for a bit...and its annoying.

When it happens, it ALWAYS happens that EXACT way....

Recently, it only does it in the late night, and I was able to make a recording (I made a recording to see if I'd get it on the recording, this eliminating my speakers)

Programs I run that could be doing it:

WMP
Teamspeak 2
....

Its done this on both a Audigy 2 ZS and my new X-Fi Platinum...

ANY help would be appreciated!

I'm pretty sure it's something to do with your MIC/Headset, I had the same problem before, What I did was went into the sound settings and Muted what I could that wouldn't affect my sound. I think the culprit was Line-In, so try muting that and see if it helps, Make sure you do it under the voice recording settings.

You may also try lowering the volume on microphone and disabling the +20 db boost.
