i just saw this tonight and it was a much better movie than i thought it was going to be. from what the critics were saying, i anticipated a pretty crappy movie but despite being predictable, it gave me the good funny family feeling Big Daddy gave me when i first saw that movie. Though the story nothing new, the actor from the cast made it worthwhile.

i wasn't expecting much either and went home pleasantly surprised. i saw it on tuesday through a corporate viewing. the girl who played the grown up daugther and grown up daughter in law were smoking hot. oh yeah, kate beckinsale was pretty hot too, 🙂

I like good sci-fi but the premise for this is totally unbelievable :

Adam Sandler married to Kate Beckinsale. Come on, no way man.

holy shazbot, no wonder she looked really familiar but i couldn't get the name during the movie. yes the daughter in law and daughter were smoking.

Just saw it tonight with the gf and was also surprised at how good the movie was. After reading mediocre critic reviews I didnt expect much, but being a big Adam Sandler fan figured I'd see it anyways. Glad I did 🙂

I haven't seen it yet... I hate Adam Sandler, but my love of Christopher Walken might trump that... how much does he actually appear in the movie?

walken is in about 4 or 5 scenes i think.

adam sandler almost acts like a normal person (he's an architect as opposed to a waterboy) in this movie. so he's not as annoying as his other movies. watch this movie for the hot chicks!

I saw the movie as well, at first I thought it's going blow. But it really blew me away towards the end...I almost cried too seriously 😕

I saw it Friday night, mainly because of this thread. I liked it, it was sad towards the end. Sandler is trying to broaden his horizon from the happy/madison type idiot character to something more serious (spanglish. 50 first dates etc), like every other actor like him.

Bottom line, wait till it comes out on video, but if you want to go to the threatre then see it by all means. Good thing the wife was smoking hot, it made the movie a lot better. 😀
