Am running Opera 36 on this XP machine. When I open Opera and click on one of my start screen favorite sites icons (e.g. Anandtech Forums), I can't connect. Instead I get this:

Click Start, click Run, type %windir%\network diagnostic\xpnetdiag.exe, and then click OK.

I do that and I'm first asked if my cabling is intact. I click yes and Next and I can view a log. After that I can connect. If I launch IE instead I don't get this stuff, it launches.

What can I do to stop this? A week ago Opera acted normally. I want to run Opera because it's supported in XP until September 2017.
