I am having horrid chopping/lag issues with my Clevo M570RU . I will try to describe it the best I can. I have had my system just a few days and installed a few games, that's about all. I get a horrid 'hiccup' where the game lags in FPS for a few seconds then goes back to normal. This happens about every 10-20 seconds while playing any game (and doing anything else), even old ones. I sort of noticed it while doing other things too, but it's much more apparent in games. I was told it was my video drivers which were 94.22 (I believe) and so I upgraded them to the modded INF 163.44 (or whatever the newest ones are). The drivers installed fine, but the choppy/lag issue is still there.
Some basics people have been asking me...
1) No, Im not running on the battery, system has been plugged in the whole time.
2) Yes, I changed the power/performance settings toward pure gaming.
3) It happens in any resolution.
4) I DID try multiple drivers.
Also my 3DMark06 score was around 3900, which I assume is awful for my specs.
Please help!!! I don't want to have to ship my system all the way back to California or pay $55.00 just so geek squad can look at it.
Thanks!!
