Yeah good luck with that one Roger..

Roger Clemens says he was injected with "Lidocaine and B-12" and not steroids or human growth hormone by former trainer Brian McNamee, according to a portion of an interview with CBS' "60 Minutes" released Thursday.

"Lidocaine and B-12. It's for my joints, and B-12 I still take today," Clemens told Mike Wallace in the interview, which is scheduled to be shown Sunday night. It is Clemens' first interview since the release of the Mitchell report in December.

Of course, Lidocaine and B-12 should be injected in the inflamed area or area that has tendinitis. Also, Dr's are the one's that supposed to perform this medical procedure. Nice lying Roger, if it's for your joints why would you have it injected in your fat ass.

When is one of these cowardly athletes going to stand up for themselves and declare their right to put anything they want into their own bodies. Who cares what Roger Clemens( or anyone else for that matter )injects into their asses anyways? It is nobody's business but they and their doctors, trainers, or whoever.

I dont think they care about what players do with their bodies. I think it's more to do with having an unfair advantage over other ballplayers.

Who cares are the thousands of other pro and semi pro ball players who are legitimately working their ways into the big leagues with their careers at stake, and have to compete with guys who are not so legit in their ''training''.

How is it an unfair advantage? The other players can take the same steps if they so desire.

The it would be the East German women's weightlifting all over again. Trust me, no one wants that again.

I have had a lidocaine injection to a joint once and there is no way in hell I'd let anyone who wasn't a doctor do it.

Well if what the reports say are true it appears there are quite a few athletes who do "want that again"i.e. Roger Clemens,Barry Bonds, etc. More importantly isn't it their right?
