Clearing temp buffer

When I try to download files to a CD (.pdf files in this case) I get a message that the 'destination disk or disk used for temporary files is full. I can download the file to my desktop, so I am assuming the problem is in the buffer that the CDRW uses to transfer files. How do I locate this buffer and empty it? How would it be named/labeled? Thanks.

It's not clear from your post, but are you trying to download files directly to the CD-RW, i.e. not to your hard drive first? If so, you're probably maxing out the memory alloted by Windows for file transfer. There's probably a way to increase it but way beyond my expertise.
You said you had no trouble downloading to your desktop; can you burn successfully from there (without getting errors?)
There is a physical cache in your drive but not accessible to the user; and would clear on it's own after each file is read/written.

Yes, I was attempting to download directly to the cdrw. According to the file attributes it is only 2026KB so I wouldn't think it would exceed the Windows memory limit for temporary transfer. Also, I can download it to the hard drive so that would indicate to me that I am not exceeding the memory limit. Once I get it to the hard drive, I can copy it to the CDRW normally.

Wait a minute, I may have discovered my error. I was attempting to save a copy (using the save icon at the top of the Adobe window) of the opened .pdf file to the CDRW instead of copying it which is what I did when I burned the CD from the hard drive. I didn't realize that .pdf files must be compressed? Anyway, the deed is done for now. Thanks.
