Howdy,
This is for Windows XP...
I have a little batch file I use to clear out various temp folders and things and I also want to try to use it to clear out the Restore Point files. On our work machines we have Restore Points turned off but thigns still get put in there when we apply MS patches and thigns adn we've found machines with many gigs of space being used up in there as well as viruses that hide in there.
I can't seem to find a way to clear this out via DOS.
I can use Cacls to grant permissions to the System Volume Information folder but then can't seem to get into the _restore xxx folder to delete all the RPxxx files and folders. Anyone have a way of doing this?
Thanks.
