Clearing iphone without changing baseband.

Hi. I want to sell my iphone to someone who plans on unlocking / jailbreaking it. I want to clear all my data off it without updating the baseband or anything that will affect unlock/jb. How can I do this?

Restore the phone to the firmware you currently have using tinyUmbrella. Download the restore files from a torrent or other 'Yarr! Me hearties' site.

(You did remember to save your SHSH blobs, didn't you? Cydia should have done this automatically if you jailbroke before an updated firmware was released)

that doesn't erase everything. you can still recover with both of the options up there personal data. its flash remember.

ahhh I never knew that. I thought it was deleted. How can you restore the data if you dont have the previously backed up iTunes restore file? is there an option in the phone?

thanks
