Clearing CMOS on Gateway E6300 desktop?!

I recently installed a Geforce 7950Gt into my linux box which is a Gateway E6300 series desktop. I sometimes swap machines on my single monitor, which has before has caused no video signal getting picked up, requiring a CMOS jumper reset to set things straight. When the video didn't pick up, I wasnt too surprised as this has happened to me a handful of times before. However, I pop the gateway open and there is no Clear CMOS jumper on the motherboard!? I've checked it numerous times and it is definitely no where to be found. Resulting in my linux machine not picking up any video signal at all. I tried both the 7950 and the onboard with both VGA cable and a DVI but neither works. I tried a little google'ing as well but that hasn't been any help Anyone have any ideas on how to solve this!?

Yes, normally the jumper for the cmos is near the battery. There is no jumper for it on this gateway motherboard. I suppose I could try just removing the battery and putting it back in.

You'd want to wait a bit before replacing the battery. You could probably short the + and - connectors on the battery holder to expedite things.

Obviously, this is all done with power totally disconnected from the motherboard.

Haha yes, obviously. Wouldn't want to go and get electrocuted. If I were to take the battery out for ~1 min and pop it back in, do you think it would work? I've never actually taken a battery off a motherboard before.

Popped the battery out for about a minute then put it back in. Still not picking up any video signal...getting frustrated with this dang thing!

I've seen monitors that are flaky about detecting input type if it's different from the last hookup i.e. vga to dvi. Had to manually select the input on the monitor.
