Clear Type

for people with LCD

Go to Display/Appearance/Effects and choose "clear type" as the font for smoothing screen fonts.

I just found out this today! it made a HUGE difference!

It made a noticable difference on my 17" CRT monitor too, so not just for people with LCDs... But turning it on does slow the system down a bit...

It made a huge difference on my CRT as well. I love it! its one of the first features I activate whenever I have to reformat/reinstall.
